Day dream

With you, I think and contemplate
in mind, so much of late,
So many things I hear you state,
and all my kisses await,

Your eyes look on to mine,
having sought them out in time,
Your smile’s soft flame,
my hands seek to adore and frame

You lure my senses, my hypnotist,
To your cinnamon neck, my catalyst,
You are my karma, I hope to repay,
So close, yet half an Earth away,

To breathe in your space,
I long for the sweetest grace,
How could bliss ever be compelled
to bloom upon your cheek’s swell

In my mind we are often walking,
a garden path, quietly talking,
our shoulders sway like the tide,
I am sold, but my face tells a lie.
